First Announcement

We are pleased to announce that the 26th Conference Applications of Logic in Philosophy and the Foundations of Mathematics will be held in Szklarska Poręba from May 8 to May 12, 2023. Traditionally, the organizers of the conference are Department of Logic and Methodology of Sciences, University of Wrocław; Department of Mathematics, University of Opole, and Institute of Mathematics, University of Silesia in Katowice. The meeting takes place in the lovely Sudetes Mountains on the Polish-Czech border. Our event is being held under the patronage of the Polish Association for Logic and Philosophy of Science.

It is also our pleasure to announce that among our invited speakers is

  Piotr Kulicki, The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin

We encourage everyone who is interested in logic to participate in our event. Contributions related to logic, logical philosophy, pragmatics, foundations of mathematics, foundations of computer science and related areas are welcome. The abstracts of about 30 minutes talks, not extending one page, should be submitted before April 3, 2023 and the notification of acceptance will be sent until April 12, 2023. We are pleased to announce that the invited speakers of the upcoming meeting are:

As usual, we encourage everyone interested in logic to participate in our conference. Contributions related to logic, logical philosophy, pragmatics, foundations of mathematics and related areas are welcome. The abstracts of about 30-40 minutes talks, not extending one page, should be submitted via the registration form. The deadline for submissions is April 3, 2023 and the notification of acceptance will be sent until April 12, 2023.

The conference venue is situated in the Sudetes Mountains on the Polish-Czech border at Olimp Hotel in Szklarska Poręba. The full accommodation covers four-day stay in the hotel (from Monday afternoon till Friday noon) and meals. The cost of accommodation (including meals) is 1195 PLN for a double room or 1280 PLN for a single room. For registration and the hotel reservation, please fill out the registration form.

Third Announcement

We kindly remind that our forthcoming meeting will be held in Szklarska Poręba. However, since in the "Olimp" hotel, where we held our meetings so far, there was an unforeseen breakdown in the heating system that cannot be removed in the nearest days, the sessions and accommodation will be moved to the "Rzemieślnik" hotel. The standard of meals and overnight accommodation in both facilities is the same, so we are certain that the new one will fully meet the needs of all participants. In this exceptional situation, the owner of both sites has decided to provide everyone with10% discount. Thus, the cost of full four-day accommodation (including meals) is 1075,50 PLN for a double room or 1152,00 PLN for a single room, to be paid in the hotel.  The hotel will accept the participants on Monday, May 8, from the early afternoon; in the evening dinner will be served. The conference will end on Friday, May 12, after lunch.
