First Announcement

We would like to kindly inform that the jubilee 25th Conference Applications of Logic in Philosophy and the Foundations of Mathematics will be held in Szklarska Poręba from May 4 to May 8, 2020.

Traditionally, the meeting is organized by the Department of Logic and Methodology of Sciences, University of Wrocław, Institute of Mathematics, University of Opole, and Institute of Mathematics, University of Silesia in Katowice. The conference takes place in Szklarska Poręba, in the lovely Sudety Mountains on the Polish-Czech border. Our event is held under the patronage of the Polish Association for Logic and Philosophy of Science.

As always, we count on a kind response from anyone interested in broadly understood logic, as well as logical pragmatics, logical philosophy, and the basics of mathematics and computer science. The abstracts of 30-40 minutes talks, not extending one page, should be submitted before April 3, 2020. The notifications of acceptance will be sent until April 13, 2020.

Second Announcement

We are pleased to announce that the jubilee 25th Conference Applications of Logic in Philosophy and Foundations of Mathematics will be held in Szklarska Poręba from May 4 to May 8, 2020. Traditionally, the organizers of the conference are Department of Logic and Methodology of Sciences, University of Wrocław, Institute of Mathematics, University of Opole, and Institute of Mathematics, University of Silesia in Katowice. We are pleased to announce that the invited speaker of the upcoming meeting is:

Mirna Džamonja, University of East Anglia in Norwich,  Université Panthéon-Sorbonne Paris 1.

Moreover, in connection with the twenty-fifth edition of the conference, the Jubilee Session will be held, to which we invite all Participants.

As usual, we encourage everyone interested in logic to participate in our conference. Contributions related to logic, logical philosophy, pragmatics, foundations of mathematics and related areas are welcome. The abstracts of about 30-40 minutes talks, not extending one page, should be submitted via the registration form on the conference website. The deadline for submissions is April 3, 2020 and the notification of acceptance will be sent until April 13, 2020.

The conference venue is situated in the Sudetes Mountains on the Polish-Czech border at Olimp Hotel in Szklarska Poręba. The full accommodation covers four-day stay in the hotel (from Monday afternoon till Friday noon) and meals. The cost of accommodation (including meals) is from 705 PLN for a double room to 777 PLN for a single room. The conference fee is 250 PLN.

Special Announcement

Dear collegues,

We decided to cancel the 25th conference Applications of Logic in Philosophy and the Foundations of Mathematics in May this year. We believe that in the current situation this is the only right solution. But we hope that next year in May we will all meet in Szklarska Poręba in good health and usual conditions.
