Second Announcement

We are pleased to announce that the 24th Conference Applications of Logic in Philosophy and Foundations of Mathematics will be held in Szklarska Poręba from May 13 to May 17, 2019. Traditionally, the organizers of the conference are Department of Logic and Methodology of Sciences, University of Wrocław, Institute of Mathematics, University of Opole, and Institute of Mathematics, University of Silesia in Katowice. The event is being held under the patronage of Polish Association for Logic and Philosophy of Science. We are pleased to announce that the invited speakers of the upcoming meeting are:

• Krzysztof R. Apt, Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, Amsterdam; University of Warsaw:  Open problems in a logic of gossips;
• Roberto Giuntini, University of Cagliari, Classical and quantum degrees of truth;
• Andreas Herzig, Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse: 1. Dynamic logic, 2. Stit semantics;
• Emil Jeřábek, Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague: Admissible rules and their complexity.
  
  As usual, we encourage everyone interested in logic to participate in our conference. Contributions related to logic, logical philosophy, pragmatics, foundations of mathematics and related areas are welcome. The abstracts of about 30 minutes talks, not extending one page, should be submitted via the registration form on the conference website. The deadline for submissions is April 2, 2019 and the notification of acceptance will be sent until April 12, 2019.
  
  The conference venue is situated in the Sudetes Mountains on the Polish-Czech border at Olimp Hotel in Szklarska Poręba. The full accommodation covers four-day stay in the hotel (from Monday afternoon till Friday noon) and meals. The cost of accommodation (including meals) is from 677 PLN in a double room to 749 PLN in a single room. The conference fee is 250 PLN.
